This program simulates a three species ecosystem, with wolves that eat deer, deer that eat grass, and grass that grows in the dirt. The wolves and deer also reproduce when well fed, but die when starving. The graph to the right shows how populations of wolves, deer and grass fluctuate over time, eventually settling into a state of equilibrium.
